I also just had a birthday and as much as I'm getting older, I definitely have never felt better! I went to a seminar with a former world yoga champion named Joseph Encinia and I learned so much. I also regularly went to my acro sessions in the studio nearby to improve my acro skills. I love it so much.
I am starting to understand more and more about how to use my core strength. It's improving slowly but then again what doesn't if you want it to last. I think a slow progression of strength and stabilization in using my core and applying it to all of my different workouts have made such a huge difference on my breathing, balance and concentration.
I'm working on a new technique which involves my diet to change and for more muscle replenishment. I have been a very cardio driven exerciser my whole life and with what i'm reading currently makes me realize that I'm a sugar burner which makes me "skinny fat" and I have to change my metabolism to being more of a fat burner so I can start keeping those muscles I'm working so hard to build strong.
Keep in touch with me by subscribing to my RSS feed so you can see when I post something new and follow my results. I will be focusing more on HIIT (high intensity interval training) yoga workouts and explaining why this will be my more focused way of toning up and gaining muscle. I still continue to use yoga for its balance but I realize I need a balance in all aspects of my life.
Also I have a couple of workshops coming up in October and November and would love for you to come join us. They will be partner yoga workshops. You can see my partner yoga video here to check out what it is we'll be doing. Oh, and don't worry if you don't have a partner. It's no problem at all.
Thats it for now, I'll leave you with some pictures from my trip to Barrie with my new yoga friends.
